Shipping & Delivery

Are your grills made to order?

Yes. Every grill is custom-built to order. Because of the manufacturing process and material allocation involved, orders are generally considered final once production begins.

What is the lead time for a grill order?

Standard models typically require approximately 5–7 weeks from the date full payment is received. Stainless steel models generally require 10–12 weeks.

Lead times may be shorter if the selected model is already in stock.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Orders placed through the website are currently intended for U.S. shipping destinations. If you need international shipping, please contact us directly so we can review freight options, product compatibility, and delivery requirements for your location.

How does freight delivery work?

All grills are shipped through third-party freight carriers. The carrier will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment before arrival.

Because these are large and heavy products, it is important to prepare the installation area and delivery access in advance.

What should I do when my grill is delivered?

Before signing for delivery, carefully inspect both the crate and the grill for any visible damage. If damage is present, it must be documented on the Bill of Lading before the driver leaves.

This is required for freight insurance claims.

Does the grill arrive assembled?

Yes. Your grill arrives fully assembled and ready for installation. We strongly recommend not disassembling components such as uprights or fire bricks to reduce weight during moving or installation.

If you need assistance planning installation logistics, contact us before delivery.

Product, features and accessories

Can accessories or upgrades be added after purchasing the grill?

Some accessories can be purchased later, but certain upgrades, such as windbreaks, resting shelves, and other built-in modifications, are only available at the time of grill purchase because they require structural adaptations during manufacturing.

We recommend selecting all desired built-in upgrades before placing your order.

What makes the Pro Series different from the standard models?

Our Pro Series grills are built for demanding commercial and professional environments and include NSF-certified configurations designed for food-service operations. They feature upgraded construction, reinforced components, and additional customization options compared to the standard residential-oriented models.

Are your products made for residential or commercial use?

We offer both residential and commercial-grade products. Our standard series are popular for home outdoor kitchens and backyard cooking setups, while our Pro Series and NSF-certified models are specifically designed for restaurants, catering operations, and professional kitchens.

Do your grills use wood, charcoal, or gas?

All Sunterra grills are designed for wood and charcoal cooking to provide an authentic live-fire experience. Some models may include gas-assisted ignition or hybrid configurations depending on the product line.

Product specifications will indicate the supported fuel types for each model.
