A flat-panel griddle that sits directly on the grate support frame of Sunterra grilling systems, providing a flat cooking surface over live fire. It is suited for foods that benefit from even, radiant heat without direct grate contact — eggs, vegetables, smash burgers, flatbreads, and more.
The griddle is available in two sizes — Medium and Large — matched to the specific configuration of the grill (the size depends on your grill, if the medium size fits your grill, you cannot use the large model). Both sizes are available in Steel or Stainless Steel, and both are built in 14 gauge.
On split-grate configurations the griddle occupies one grate section, leaving the other open for simultaneous direct-fire cooking. On the Santa Maria 30” and 36” as well as the Argentine Side Brasero 48” grills, you will have a gap when removing the grates and using the griddle, you can purchase a small V-channel grate to fill the gap.
