Oven with two separately insulated compartments. The upper compartment is the main oven chamber, with an insulated steel door and a temperature gauge mounted to the exterior. The lower compartment houses the primary firebox, with an insulated steel door and a built-in damper to control airflow and regulate temperature. Heat flows up through internal side vents from the firebox to the main oven.
The top of the oven also functions as a secondary fire surface, allowing heat to be applied from above the oven chamber, below it, or both simultaneously. A removable cooking grate sits above the top fire surface. It slides in through a cylindrical mount and rotates 360°, providing a direct-fire grilling surface that can be used independently or alongside the oven during the same cook.
